The Art & Inspiration Blog of Illustrator Jody Pham

Archive for December, 2009

And so we’re told…this is the golden age.

My holiday went surprisingly perfect! It was our first official Christmas at our place. It was really exciting to plan my own menu, decorate and play hostess for once. Over the weekend there was much fun had with both family and friends. I am so thankful for the people in my life.

I had a lot of custom projects this month. They ranged from wooden portrait pendants and necklaces, to drawings and a set of note cards I hand adorned with glitter. I always love a new challenge, especially since they very often leave me inspired for many days after. If you have an idea and would like to work together, feel free to leave me a comment, or contact me through Etsy. I am accepting custom orders through January 15th.

This drawing was inspired by the lovely Chelsea Nicole. Her blog now features my artwork as it’s header, and she’s been so sweet as to list me as one of her favorite modern illustrators! I highly recommend following her Blog and Tumblr. Her taste is exquisite. (obviously. hehe.)

I’m planning on doing a ton of drawing and creating in the coming weeks. If we don’t speak before then, I wish you all a magical New Year’s Eve. I’ll likely be leaning against a hotel balcony somewhere, sipping pink champagne and dreaming of all that 2010 has in store for me. I can’t wait.
