Stripmall Architecture & Heart Palpitations.

I’ve been hinting at a secret project in the works. Well, it’s time to share my wonderful news!!
I am VERY proud to announce that I am doing the album artwork for Stripmall Architecture’s upcoming album ‘Feathersongs for Factory Girls’ ! Not only is the idea of having my artwork on a cd cover amazing, but the fact that I have adored their music since I first heard them as Halou many years ago makes this all the more special to me. I can’t wait to hold the finished cd in my hands. Eeee!
Rebecca and Ryan have had several different projects-Halou, R/R Coseboom and now, Stripmall Architecture.
If you haven’t heard them before, I highly recommend you take a listen. Each project is a little different, but all are equally amazing. Below are a few of my favorite Halou tracks. Enjoy!
All my language slipped away.
Consumption.
I have wanted to order Mini Moo Cards for a year now. I finally took the plunge! (I know, I know..I’m a daredevil.
) They arrived in the cutest packaging ever. I knew they were smaller than average business cards, but they were still a little smaller than I anticipated. I still love them and the fact that they fit perfectly in the gift boxes I send my necklace orders in.

Dabbling in thread.
I’m one of those people who can hardly sit still. I often draw, write or even read while watching movies. Last night I decided to attempt some embroidery on some cross-stitching fabric I had laying around. Thanks to my mom I have tons of different shades of thread to work with. My next project will probably be a lot more colorful. It’s been about 12 years since I’ve really sat down and attempted anything of this nature, so I definitely consider it a practice run. Ta daaa.

For some reason, the backs are always my favorite.
