Antihistamine & Mojo Loss.
For the last few weeks, I have been suffering from severe creative block. This is unfortunate timing considering I’m trying to put together my official portfolio (for upcoming art shows), work on illustrating a limited edition run of cd’s for Stripmall Architecture, and come up with a concrete vision for my upcoming line of necklaces (totally different from the ones I’ve been offering!).
I was doodling tonight, trying to regain my mojo before I do irreversible damage on the pristine Stripmall albums. I think it’s coming back, slowly but surely. There is something so visceral and relaxing about drawing a thousand compacted little lines that grow more and more entangled in one another.
I’ll try not to be such a stranger.

I love how the Radium Girls single came out. The design is so meticulous.
I’m working on a new line of note cards with text. This is the first of this particular set. I hope you like them. They are an homage to all the remarkable women in my life. Merci.

I was feeling rusty, so I did a couple quick doodles in between studying. I can’t wait to have more time to create.
The Process.
I’ve been oozing with creativity lately. I’ve ordered some more supplies. Sketched out potential projects. I’m now also keeping a notebook for all those fleeting ideas that get lost in the maelstrom of daily life. I had terrible insomnia last night/this morning…so I drew!
