  • Photographer Vitya Lyagushkin and diving journalist Bogdana Vashchenko give us a glimpse inside the hauntingly beautiful Ordinskaya Cave, the longest underwater cave in Russia.
  • I recently discovered Jen Gassiraro’s intricate, abstract paintings, with a feminine twist. If you’re in the Dallas area, I highly recommend seeing her work in person!
  • Justin Terveen of Urban Fabric put together a couple of very neat time lapse videos of Dallas. (one captures a day of what came to be known by locals as Snowpocalypse 2011)
  • If you’re one of my close friends, you know Brunch is by far my favorite meal. What’s not to love about fresh fruit, pastries, crisp bacon, the perfect Bloody Mary (extra spicy, please), and Eggs Benedict? I recently discovered The Dallas Observer’s Brunch Drunk Love column by Andrea Grimes.

  • Horoscopes for Artsy Types! Before you rush to read about your own sign, read the intro for the year and what it has to say about Obama and his chart. Very interesting.

  • Self-initiated T-shirt 2009 by Petter Hanberger. It’s a screenprint of the 2009 calendar. A pen is attached to it, so that the owner can fill in one box for each day that the shirt is being used. After one year the t-shirt design is finished.
