I think this may be my favorite illustration (as far as girls go) yet. She was conceived after a Tim Burton and Beats Antique marathon. Can you tell?

I’ve just added her, and a couple other new prints to the shop. For the rest of January, take 20% off your order by using coupon code “BIRTHDAYGIRL2012″.

Project 22×28.

This will be my largest illustration so far at 22×28″. I typically draw on 11×14 bristol board. This is about 2 hours in…

A skull without a mandible is only a cranium.

Can you believe I’ve never drawn a skull until this weekend? It was always one of those things that intimidated me for some reason. I’m very pleased with it!

I’m thinking about redoing the heart and brain so the entire series looks more consistent. I haνe one more skull (this one with more nerνe endings, yay.) to share soon.

P.S. Limited Edition prints of this piece are now aνailable in my shop, specially priced for Halloween at just $10.

Inspired by the Russian Ballet.

Now she needs a name…any suggestions?

Wallflowers & Networking.

Lately my mind has been covered in flora. I can’t get enough of these drawings. I’m working diligently at finding the perfect frames for this series. There are some empty spots on some Dallas walls that need filling.

These have been a delight to make! As soon as my shipment of glass arrives (hopefully next week), a small army of these beauties will be listed in my shop. Each black patina frame will contain a miniature, one-of-a-kind illustration by me! I’ll be offering these in at least two sizes. The one shown here is a bold piece at 2×2″.

This piece is especially meaningful to me. I drew it in honor of Valentina Grace, the beautiful daughter of a dear friend of mine.

I am now a proud member of the Behance Network. I especially adore the clean layout, and the freedom of posting projects that contain different media. I’m in the presence of SO many talented artists. It’s impossible not to feel inspired.

The Passage of Air.

I must admit, this is my favorite illustration of the series thus far. I picked up some much thicker Micron pens to experiment with, and I’m really loving the outcome. I definitely plan to do more high contrast drawings in the future!

I’ve got two grueling days of finals & paper writing ahead of me, then I’ll be hunched over my bristol board working on some custom orders, and working on getting my favorite pieces framed for art shows in my (near) future. More on that soon!

Limited Edition Print available in my shop!
